The amount of processing at the Purovsky Plant made 80 million tonnes

The total amount of processing of de-ethanized gas condensate at the Purovsky Plant has reached 80 million tonnes since the plant was launched in June of 2005. It processes raw materials coming from extractive fields of NOVATEK and its joint ventures.

The enterprise is the central link in the vertically integrated production chain of the company, which allows providing high quality of products and thereby maximizing revenues from gas condensate extraction. Stable gas condensate and wide fraction of light hydrocarbons are the main products of the Purovsky Plant.

The first stage of the Purovsky Plant was input to operation in 2005. In 2008 after the launch of the second stage the capacity of the plant grew from 2 to 5 million tonnes per year. In 2014 the capacity of the plant was additionally increased from 5 to 11 million tonnes per year. It allowed the company to balance potential on extraction of gas condensate and the capacity of its processing. This information was given to the news agency “Sever-Press” in the press service of NOVATEK.

“Achievement of such impressive indicators became possible owing to systematic growth of production capacities of the plant and resource base of the company, timely commissioning of new extractive fields”, Alexander Fridman, the first deputy chairman of the Board of NOVATEK said. - “We use modern technologies at the Purovsky Plant and constantly optimize technological process, achieving high quality of stable condensate and wide fraction of light hydrocarbons being produced. Along with the high degree of protection in the sphere of industrial safety and labor protection, this approach allows us consistently to ensure high production results”.

The company “NOVATEK” is busy with exploration, extraction, processing and selling of gas and liquid hydrocarbons. In 2017 the company entered the international market due to the successful launch of the project “Yamal LNG”. Its extractive fields and license areas are located mainly in Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
