The Arctic educational forum was opened in Salekhard

The exhibition "All colors of Yamal" dedicated to the second Arctic educational forum was opened in the Museum-exhibition complex named after Ivan Shemanovskiy in Salekhard. The full-scale event was organized by the regional department of education and the government of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

A deputy governor of Yamal Tatiana Buchkova greeted the participants. According to her words, activities similar to the forum do much for development of young generation; the main task of the forum is to show new opportunities, tendencies and achievements in the system of education. As he notes, today in the world of new technologies it needs to create such conditions for children and youth that would allow developing their talents and skills. More than 100 institutions on different directions of additional education for children work in the region today. As the director of the department of education of Yamal Irina Sidorova underlines, special funds in the size 13 million rubles were allocated in Yamal for grants by the results of the contest among projects on development of additional education. It will become a new stimulus for development of new projects for children, as he says. Innovative experience of educational institutions and pedagogues of Yamal is being presented on the educational exposition. They are showing their educational programs and interesting creative projects. Educational books by leading Russian publishing houses and modern equipment on organizing of additional education for children were also presented to the participants of the forum.
