The Arctic oil and gas week will unite four international conferences

Four international arctic conferences will be conducted on one platform for the first time: the 4th international conference "Yamal and the Kara Sea Oil and Gas", the 3rd international conference "Timano-Pechora and Barents Sea Oil and Gas", the 3rd international conference "The Northern Sea Route: oil and gas logistics in the Arctic" and the international conference "Environmental and industrial security in the Arctic".

By the information given on the website neftegaz.ru, the forum is called to unite efforts of representatives of the power, the business and the science on forming the strategy of development of oil and gas potential on arctic territories. The following themes of the action are basic: challenges and breakthroughs in development of main arctic fields of Russia on the territory of Timano-Pechora, Yamal, the Barents Sea and the Kara Sea; oil and gas of the Arctic on the energy map of the world, marine and continental infrastructure; arctic LNG-projects of Russia, Norway and the USA; a role of the Northern Sea Route in development of resources of the Arctic and ecological and industrial security. About 200 delegates from different countries will participate in the week. The business program includes more than 70 reports.
