The best experience from Belarus – to Yamal

The delegation of Yamal, which includes deputies of the governor of Yamal and heads of municipalities of the arctic region, is headed by the governor Dmitriy Kobylkin. The delegation is working in Brest. As we should remind, the working visit of the northerners to Belarus started on the 23rd of April.

Setting of direct friendly contacts with representatives of the power and business structures of Belarus for activation of Yamal socioeconomic projects became its main aim. Having arrived to Brest, the delegation of Yamal visited one of villages of Brest district, where the northerners got acquainted to production base – an agro-industrial cooperative, visited a medical and obstetrical center, a school, a house of culture, a food store and talked to local inhabitants. Of course, this all was interesting to the people of Yamal, as the tasks set in the Strategy on foodstuff safety also touch upon providing inhabitants of the arctic region with qualitative food products, and the best experience of social programs, which work in Belarus, is useful for municipalities of Yamal. Also the delegation of Yamal went to the opening of the international exhibition-fair "Brest. Commonwealth – 2014". It has taken place in Brest for the 16th time. It touches upon different issues: from products of industrial and technical purpose and agricultural machinery up to consumer goods and products of food industry. Also Dmitriy Kobylkin is planning to conduct the meeting with the chairperson of the town executive committee (Brest) Alexander Palyshenkov. They will discuss prospective directions of development of cooperation between municipalities of Yamal and Brest. The program of the visit includes review of expositions of the exhibition-fair, visit to the memorial complex "Brest Fortress-Hero" in order to pay respect to Soviet warriors, who won the victory in the Great Patriotic War. The people of Yamal will lay wreaths to the Eternal Flame in the fortress, and Dmitriy Kobylkin will make a note in the book for honorary guests. As we should add, the program also includes the meeting of the delegation from Yamal with the administration of Brest Oblast. On the 25th of April the governor of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug will work in Chelyabinsk. The program of the visit includes the ceremony of awarding of participants and winners of the contest of professional skills "Glorify the working man". Besides, the head of the arctic region will participate in the sitting of the Council at the plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in Ural Federal Okrug, which will be conducted by Igor Kholmanskikh.
