The best tourist projects will be announced in Yamal

The regional contest for receiving of grants for support of project of domestic and inbound tourism is taking place in Yamal. 12 documents for participation were received. This information was given by the first deputy director of the regional department of youth policy and tourism Stepan Demidenko on the meeting with journalists.

As he notes, the number of contest works has grown this year. Summing up the results, the experts will consider purposefulness of funds use and economic effectiveness of the presented projects and also opportunities to develop business. In August-September the council on development of tourism will announce names of the winners on 5 nominations. The winner of the nomination "The best project on development of domestic tourism" will receive the grant in 700 thousand rubles. The winner in the nomination "The best service for tourists in a hotel, a restaurant" will receive 500 thousand rubles, in the nomination "The best project on social tourism" – 300 thousand rubles. Contestants, who will take the first places in the nominations "The best project on development of ethnographic tourism" and "The best project on hunting and fishing tours", will receive the grants in 200 thousand rubles each. According to the information of Stepan Demidenko, as the experience of the previous years shows, ones, who received grants, were able to open own business and even to enlarge it. Thus, the winner of the contest of 2012 the company "OkoloPura" from the settlement Korotchayevo constantly develops new tourist services, including social tours for children with problems of health.
