The ceremony of opening of the new swimming pool took place in Tarko-Salye

The new swimming pool was opened in Tarko-Salye. The object will become a completing component of the sports complex “Avangard” (vanguard). The sports complex was constructed by the building company “Magnum” within the social program “Native towns” of the company “Gazprom Neft”.

In addition to the swimming pool, the complex includes an ice arena built in 2013 and a field-and-track stadium opened in 2015. The swimming pool has 6 lanes. Stadium stands for more than 100 people were set in the basic building. There is also a swimming-pool for children and a hall for training in the one-storey building. According to the words of the head of Purovskiy district Andrey Nesteruk, after input the swimming pool to operation inhabitants of the town will receive more opportunities to develop physically and to take care of their health. He is sure that after input of the object to operation the number of sports achievements will grow. “We have achievements, very considerable – on the world level! On the summer Olympiad our sportsman won the golden medal – it is pride and an example for our children. I am sure that we shall have many Olympic victories and records”, as he said on the opening ceremony. Within agreements with Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug “Gazprom Neft” finances building of social objects, renders charitable and sponsor help, participates in projects of renovating and equipping of educational and medical establishments, supports cultural programs and sport for children and youth, as the press-service of the governor of Yamal informs. Objects being built by the company allow forming modern infrastructure of the region responding the strictest requirements. Next year it is planned to open two branches of the hockey academy “Avangard” in Muravlenko and Labytnangi. These are specialized establishments integrated into large projects on education of professional sportspeople. Besides, kindergartens in Noyabrsk and Muravlenko, a multifunctional sports complex in Salekhard and apartment houses in Noviy Port, Yamalskiy district will be built within coming 3-4 years. This information was given by the chief of the department of regional development of “Gazprom Neft” Sergey Bilkey. 23 sports objects were input to operation from 2010 to 2015 at the expenses of all sources of financing. 15 of them were built at the expenses of fuel and energy enterprises.
