The dancing collective "Palitra" from the town Labytnangy won the Grand-Prix on the festival in Sochi

The dancing collective "Palitra" (palette) from the town Labytnangy won the Grand-Prix on the international contest "Baltic Stars" in Sochi.

This victory became the pass to the next festival-contest "Baltic Stars" for the dancers from Yamal. It will take place in April in Saint Petersburg.

As the artistic director of the collective Lubov Sakal says, the senior group of the ensemble presented solo and collective choreographic performances. The audience welcomed them very cordially. By the results of the performance, the ensemble received the Grand-Prix of the contest. As Lubov Sakal says, she is very happy that the dancers worthily presented their town and Yamal on this important festival. She underlined professional level of organizing of the activity, and expressed happiness in connection with success of the junior group of the ensemble – the dancing studio "Yamalskiye Zvyozdochki" (little stars of Yamal). On the all-Russian choreographic contest "Star Serpentine" the junior group won two first places.
