The data about the Russian Arctic will be united into the atlas

The interdepartmental working group at the Ministry for economic development will design the national atlas of the Arctic.

The collection will include information about geography, ecology, economy, history, ethnography, culture and social development of the Russian part of the region, as it is informed on the portal fishnews.ru.

It is expected that such edition will be interesting not only to specialists but also to amateurs of arctic tourism. As we should remind, earlier the President of Russia Vladimir Putin entrusted the government together with scientific organizations to prepare suggestions on creation of the national atlas of the Arctic.
