The Day of the rotation worker is celebrated in Russia on the 27th of April

Every year on the 27th of April Russia celebrates the professional holiday of employees working on the rotation basis – the Day of the rotation worker. The rotation method is used by brave people, who are ready to leave a place that is called “home” for long time; they do not see their relatives and friends for months and work in severe climate conditions, sometimes with no available communications. But socioeconomic development of the state is continued thanks to the work of such people. They develop new gas and oil fields, extract natural resources, build factories and plants, lay roads and pipelines and work at strategic facilities.

The department of employment of population in Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug congratulated rotation employees working in the arctic region with their professional holiday.

The largest employers of the country working in the sector of oil and gas extracting, processing and transporting of hydrocarbon raw materials invite to work on the rotation basis in Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The company “Gazprom” is the most famous. Subsidiaries of “Gazprom” operate in Yamal: “Gazprom dobycha Yamburg”, “Gazprom dobycha Urengoy”, “Gazprom dobycha Nadym” and others. NOVATEK group is the second largest gas company after “Gazprom”. The number of the employers also includes “Rosneft”, which extracts oil throughout Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

According to the information given to a correspondent of the news agency “Sever-Press” in the department of employment of population in Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, at the moment the job bank has 1755 vacant working places on the rotation method.
