The delegation of Yamal is going to the Republic of Sakha with the official visit

The official visit of the delegation from Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug to the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) was started. The delegation is being headed by a deputy governor of the region Aleksey Sitnikov. This is the return visit of the delegation from Yamal.

By the information given to IA "Sever-Press" in the press-service of the governor of Yamal, the sides will share experience in several spheres. Yamal will present the ecological action on cleaning of Beliy Island and the report about prospects of agro-industrial complex. It is being expected that Yakutia also will make presentations on the analogous topics. The regions are planning to find areas of common interests on such directions of development of agriculture as fish breeding and horse herding. Besides, within the meeting it is planned to discuss issues of scientific and innovative complexes of the region, state of natural resources, processing of raw materials of traditional branches, prospects of education. Also it is planned to visit enterprises and organizations of Yakutia. By the words of Aleksey Sitnikov, the subjects have much in common; therefore experience of each other will be useful for development of economies of the regions. They have something to learn from each other in the sphere of medicine, social policy, ecological and foodstuff security and, of course, agriculture. By his words, Aleksey Sitnikov would like that this cooperation would grow further. As we should remind, the official delegation of Yakutia visited Yamal in April. The representatives of specialized departments of the region conducted the working conference on issues of northern reindeer herding. The agreement about cooperation between the union of reindeer herders of Yamal and the association of reindeer herders of Yakutia became its result. The sides discussed issues of perfection of regional legislation on support of traditional branches in northern regions of Russia. The representatives of the delegation from Yakutia got acquainted to specifics of processing of venison on the basis of the enterprise "Yamalskiye Oleni" (Yamal Reindeer) and visited the fish-processing plant in Salekhard.
