The delegation of Yamal placed the wreathes on Piskaryovskoye Memorial Cemetery

The mournful ceremony dedicated to the 69th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War took place in Saint Petersburg on Piskaryovskoye Memorial Cemetery.

By the information given in the press-service of the representational office of Yamal in Saint Petersburg, this year participants of the Great Patriotic War, former minor prisoners of fascism, workers of home front, residents of blockaded Leningrad, representatives of cadet movement of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, of search groups and also representatives of public organizations, students and employees of the representational office of the region were included into the delegation. Besides, the delegation includes a representative of a search group Yevgeniy Purunguy, whose grandfather was buried in 1943 on Piskaryovskoye Memorial Cemetery. After the official ceremony the delegation went to the Alley of memory to the memorial tablet dedicated to people from Yamal, who had defended the blockaded Leningrad. Later the veterans of Yamal told students and public activists about hard experience of the wartime, about their life after the war. Congratulations with the Victory Day and precepts from senior generation to junior one sounded. In the evening the official delegation of the region went to the holiday concert.
