The ethnographic complex will be created in Salekhard on Angalskiy Cape

In Salekhard it is planned to set the ethnographic complex near the sacred place of Nenets and Khanty peoples on Angalskiy Cape. It will consist of 4 nomadic camps: of Nenets, Selkoup, Khanty and Komi-Zyryan peoples.

In choums – a home of nomads, reindeer herders, it is similar to a tepee – town-dwellers and guests of the town will be able to get acquainted to culture, traditions, everyday life of peoples of the North. Paths from each nomadic camp will be united near the common platform. Holidays and performances of folkloric groups will be conducted there. The association of indigenous ethnic minorities of the North "Yamal is for descendants" suggested this idea.
