The exhibition of search groups of Yamal and Tyumen in Salekhard

The exhibition "Heroes can not be forgotten" was opened in the Museum-exhibition complex of Shemanovskiy.

It is dedicated to the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War and work of search groups. Battle-front veterans and workers of home front, their families came to the ceremony of opening. The theatre of folk song prepared the small concert for the veterans. By the words of the director of the regional museum Sergey Grishin, every year young people, representatives of search groups search for remains of soldiers, who died during the wartime. The exposition tells about this work. The exhibition includes unique exhibits found by search associations of Yamal and Tyumen: all of them belong to soldiers, battle-front veterans and workers of home front. Many items are exhibited for the first time. Among rare items there are personal things and everyday items of soldiers. The smallest exhibit is a button from a shirt of a Red Army soldier. The exhibition is supplemented with picturesque photographs. By the information of an employee of the regional museum Andrey Mazurin, employees of the Museum-exhibition complex of Shemanovskiy conduct big search work. The museum cooperates with search groups, supports relations with families of battle-front veterans. It is planned to create the book of memory of people, who died in the wartime. These people will never be forgotten.
