The first participants and guests of the forum “Indigenous ethnic minorities of the North, Siberia and the Far East of Russia” are arriving to Salekhard

Readiness to arrival of the participants and numerous experts of the event, important for many regions of the country, was discussed on the meeting of the governor of Yamal Dmitriy Kobylkin and the president of the Russian Association of Indigenous Peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East, a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Grigory Ledkov on the 22nd of March.

On the 23rd - the 25th of March the capital of Yamal is expecting more than 500 participants and guests from Russian regions and other countries of the world, as the press-service of the governor of Yamal informs. The initiators of the dialogue platform prepared the rich program. It is being expected that attention of mass media will be focused on the work of five expert sessions, on which it is planned to discuss issues significant for regions. Representatives of subjects of the Federation, leaders of public organizations and representatives of federal structures, the Federation Council, the State Duma of the Russian Federation will participate in the discussion. The invited guests from foreign countries will share their experience. The set of recommendations and suggestions, which will be sent for consideration to the competent authorities, will become the result of the forum. Grigory Ledkov confirmed that many creative artistic collectives from different territories of residence of indigenous peoples had actively participated in formation of the cultural program.
