The government of Yamal and “Gazprom Neft” discussed fulfillment of the socioeconomic agreement

The working meeting of the governor of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Dmitriy Kobylkin and the Chairman of the Board of “Gazprom Neft” Alexander Dyukov took place within the international investment forum “Sochi 2016”.

The sides discussed the results achieved this year in fulfillment of the socioeconomic agreement defining the principles of cooperation and joint projects of “Gazprom Neft” and Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug till 2020. In 2016 “Gazprom Neft” preserved the total amount of social investments into the region on the level of recent years, having allocated the basic funds to completion of construction of major objects of infrastructure such as a multipurpose sports complex in Vyngapurovskiy micro-district in Noyabrsk, a swimming-pool in Tarko-Salye and the Ice Palace of the academy “Avangard” in Muravlenko. Also one of the best Russian motocross tracks was developed and two universal mini-stadiums within walking distance were equipped in Noyabrsk. In addition, about 40 million rubles were allocated in 2016 for development of local communities in Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug; in particular, two school buses were purchased for children of Krasnoselkoup district. Work on fulfillment of the following large-scale projects in the region is continued: construction of a sports and health-improving complex with a 50-meter swimming pool, a universal hall for team sports and an ice arena in Salekhard, a kindergarten in Noyabrsk, an ice arena in Labytnangi and a secondary school in Tarko-Salye. The governor of Yamal thanked the head of the company “Gazprom Neft” for significant contribution to social and infrastructural development of the region. He expresses gratitude for the fact that the project “Native towns” is fulfilled not only in those populated areas, where the company “Gazprom Neft” is presented, but also in the other municipalities. There are still places in Yamal, where oil and gas industry is not represented, and building of social objects there is also very important, as Dmitriy Kobylkin says. As we should note, Alexander Dyukov and Dmitriy Kobylkin also reviewed the results and prospects on fulfillment of the program of import substitution of lubricants and technical liquids in the Arctic region. In the first half of 2016 a share of imported oils in consumption by enterprises of the region decreased from 74 to 62 percent, and till the end of the year it is planned to decrease on 5-10 percent more. Considering the fact that Yamal is a region with great potential of development of import substitution in the sphere of lubricants, the sides discussed plans to expand the program. Thus, it is proposed together with the distribution network “Gazpromneft – Lubricants LTD” to conduct technical training seminars for representatives of state enterprises and also to fulfill the new motivation program on import substitution for state enterprises. As the press service of the governor of Yamal notes, the sides are sure that cooperation will continue to grow further for wellbeing of residents of Yamal and for strengthening of Russian economy.
