The government of Yamal and the company “Severneftegazprom” signed the additional agreement

In Salekhard on the 15th of March the governor of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Dmitriy Kobylkin and the director general of the company “Severneftegazprom” Vladimir Dmitruk signed the additional agreement about cooperation.

The company “Severneftegazprom” additionally will finance social projects in Krasnoselkoup and Purovskiy districts, the town Noviy Urengoy and also will allocate funds for charitable activity. According to the words of Vladimir Dmitruk, the company will support social projects in municipalities that were started earlier, in particular, building of the Ice Arena in the settlement Urengoy. This year the company will participate in financial help to the charitable fund “Yamine” for the first time. The fund renders help to children. Also the company will participate in cleaning of Beliy Island in the Kara Sea. As Dmitriy Kobylkin says, the company does much on the territory, first of all, pays taxes, those ones, which are re-invested to further development of Yamal. Activity of the company allows increasing the property tax. The governor expressed gratitude to the company in connection with help to the fund “Yamine” and ecological cleaning of arctic territories. For Yamal it is very important – the President of Russia announced 2017 the Year of Ecology. Input of the first stage of the plant “Yamal LNG” in the region is scheduled for 2017. The governor is sure that the region will have something new to show both on issues of industrial development and issues of ecological security in the Arctic to the head of the country.
