The international conference "Yamal Oil and Gas 2014" is taking place in Salekhard

The third international conference "Yamal Oil and Gas 2014" will take place in Salekhard. Its participants will discuss issues of integrated development of oil and gas fields of Yamal and adjoining water areas. The talk will be about attracting of investments and advanced technologies.

It is supposed that the director general of "Gazprom dobycha Nadym" Sergey Menshikov, the director general of the joint-stock company "Yamal LNG" Gleb Luxemburg and also chiefs of the largest extracting enterprises in Yamal will participate in the conference. More than 80 top-managers of affiliated companies and international companies declared about their participation. Already traditionally experts call the action the unique platform for developing of international cooperation, attracting of investments for fulfillment of large projects in the region, sharing experience in development of extracting fields in complicated climate conditions, developing of ecological strategy and scrutinizing of legal aspects of subsoil use. During two days the participants will scrutinize projects and strategic direction of development of oil and gas branch in Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, will speak about economic and technological aspects of the mega-project "Yamal LNG" and prospects of geological exploration. The program includes issues on providing of ecological safety of Yamal and adjoining water areas and also development of transport infrastructure of the region.
