The international economic forum: the governor of Yamal met with the president of Tatarstan

In Saint-Petersburg within the international economic forum the governor of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Dmitriy Kobylkin met with the president of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. They discussed issues of building of trunk pipelines for transportation of hydrocarbon raw material from Yamal to Volga region.

Besides, in the conversation the sides touched upon themes of possible interaction in development of fields and delivery of river ships of Zelenodolsk Plant to Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

This year the economic forum is taking place under the slogan "Sustaining Confidence in a World Undergoing Transformation". The following issues are being discussed: attracting of investments to projects of integrated development of territories, changes of geography of the global gas market, formation of long-term investment partnerships for fulfillment of infrastructural projects in Russia and many others. As the press-service of the governor of Yamal reminds, several full-scale infrastructural projects are fulfilled in Yamal. Thus, the transport line "The Northern Latitudinal Route" is one of the largest projects not only in the region but in the country. It will connect Yamal with Ural region, the North-West of Russia and will lead the unified transport system of the country to the Northern Sea Route, considerably unburdening the Trans-Siberian Railway. Domestic cargo operators will receive the transport corridor going to the Arctic Ocean through the sea port of Sabetta, which is being built in the north of the Yamal Peninsula.
