The main purpose of the exhibition is to present the history of military parades and holiday salutes in the period from 1941 to 1945 in honor of major victories and the glorious ending of the Great Patriotic War.
The exhibition is represented with museum collections from military museums of Russia: the Central Armed Forces Museum of the Russian Federation from Moscow, Victory Museum from Moscow, the Military Historical Museum of Artillery, Engineers and Signal Corps from Saint Petersburg, the re-enactor Alexander Fefilov from Saint Petersburg.
The large-scale exhibition located in the exhibition hall with the area 700 square meters consists of 4 thematic sections. Visitors will learn about the history of military parades in the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union.

The second section “The radical change in the Great Patriotic War” tells about liberation of Europe in 1943-1945, participation and contribution of Yamal soldiers, appearing of the first salutes. The third section “The Victory Day Parade in Moscow on the 24th of June of 1945” will acquaint visitors with the parade on the Red Square and military musicians. The fourth and final section “The end of the World War II” provides information about the Soviet-Japanese war (the 9th of August, 1945 – the 2nd of September, 1945), the defeat of the Kwantung army, the surrender of Japan, the parade of allied troops in Berlin on the 7th of September of 1945 on the occasion of the end of the World War II, as well as the parade of Soviet troops in Harbin on the 16th of September of 1945 in honor of the victory of Soviet troops over Japan.
The main idea of the art concept of the exhibition project is to present the exhibition space as stylization of the Red Square in Moscow, where two main parades were held: on the 7th of November of 1941 and the 24th of June of 1945.
The exhibition will be presented on the official website of the institution with the virtual tour 3600. 4 reviews will be prepared and thematic video tours will be organized for the exhibition: “Women in Russian parades”, “History of military parades”.
