The new agreement will be signed soon between Yamal and Gazprom

The new agreement on cooperation will be signed between Gazprom and the government of Yamal in autumn. It became known within the visit of the head of Gazprom Aleksey Miller to Bovanenkovo field (Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug). According to Aleksey Miller, the document for 2019 is already in the process of preparing.

Traditionally the new agreement will cover many directions of interaction between the company and the region – from participation in infrastructural projects to charity. The company will continue participating in support of educational, sports and cultural establishments, organizing of activities, help to indigenous ethnic minorities of the North. As we should note, the General agreement is the basic document regulating cooperation of Gazprom and Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Agreements on cooperation are concluded every year to develop this document, the Memorandum of interaction within fulfillment of the project “Yamal”, the agreement on extension of use of natural gas as engine fuel were signed.
