The new riverside station in Salekhard received positive conclusion of the state expertise

VIS Construction Group received positive conclusion of the state expertise of the construction supervision agency of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug on the new riverside station in Salekhard.

The modern transport complex is ready to receive ships and passengers. Its input to operation will allow the region increasing amounts of passenger transportations. The object completely corresponds to project documentation and requirements of technical regulations, including requirements of energy effectiveness and equipping with metering devices. This information is given to IA "Sever-Press" in VIS Construction Group. As we should remind, building of the riverside station was fulfilled in two stages. The first was completed in the end of last year and included work on mooring berth with water area and water approaches. The second stage included construction of the edifice of the station and its connecting to engineering networks. All building, assembling and decorating kinds of work have been already completed. The new river port complex is called to optimize the scheme of traffic – now all kinds of ships will moor at one mooring place, and inhabitants will receive the opportunity to purchase tickets on all kinds of river transport in one place and in comfortable conditions. Five-level platforms for passenger loading are designed for simultaneous mooring of three vessels; there is also a pier for hovercrafts and ferries. Each stair approach is equipped with a wheelchair slope and handrails for people with limited mobility. The five-storey edifice of the station includes service areas and relaxation rooms, hotel rooms and administrative offices. A well-maintained road leads to the port - passengers can easily reach the site by public transport.
