The number of young diplomats in Yamal will grow

The Club of young diplomats will appear in Noviy Urengoy in March. The grandiose project is initiated by the International children’s center “Artek” together with the Association of diplomats of Russia at support of the Ministry of foreign affairs of Russia. This information was given on the 8th of February in the regional capital at the joint sitting of representatives of the Club of young diplomats of the towns Salekhard and Labytnangi.

The event was dedicated to celebration of the Diplomat’s Day in Russia. The professional holiday of workers of the Russian diplomatic service is marked every year on the 10th of February. It was founded by the presidential decree in October of 2002 in the honor of the 200th anniversary of the Ministry of foreign affairs of Russia.

The participants spoke on the topic of the Russian diplomatic service and discussed skills of a Russian diplomat in communication with foreign colleagues, as well as considered the plan of work for 2019. A representative of the department of external relations shared his experience of communication with foreign partners and also held the master class on the topic “Traditions and customs of business communication in different countries”.

In addition, the young diplomats will participate in the meeting with French students on the 16th-18th of February, and in November they will visit the leading Russian higher education institutions in the sphere of international relations and diplomacy.

As we should remind, in Yamal there are two Clubs of young diplomats - in Salekhard and Labytnangi. It is planned to open clubs throughout Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
