The Pearl of Yamal joined the flash mob, having shown the first stage costume and her mother’s yagushka – an ethnic fur coat

Yamal joined the all-Russian flash mob dedicated to the National Unity Day. In social networks in honor of the holiday participants post photos with folk art products, accompanying them with hashtags. In Yamal the flash mob was supported by a famous singer, a deputy of the Legislative Assembly Yelena Laptander.

“I love our ornaments, which have both meaning and beauty! This is my first stage costume, which we sewed together with my mother! In the second photo there is “yagushka”, which she recently made for me! On the third there is real ethnic beauty from needlewomen of Priuralskiy district”, Yelena wrote. (The note: “yagushka” is an ethnic fur coat for women in the north).

She called people of Yamal to join the action and post handicrafts or stylized products adapted to modern life, to show the richness of indigenous traditions.
