The President signed the decree "About land territories of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation"

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin signed the decree "About land territories of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation".

The document was created to fulfill the bases of state policy of the Russian Federation in the Arctic till 2020 and the further prospect. Land territories of the Arctic zone of Russia are defined in the supplement to the decree. Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug is referred to their number. Besides, territories of municipalities of Archangelsk Oblast, Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, Murmansk Oblast and the row of other regions were included to the supplement.
