The program on modernization of health protection was completely fulfilled in Yamal

The regional program on modernization of health protection for 2011-2013 was completely fulfilled in Yamal. 1 milliard and 761 million rubles were spent for the program. Financing was received both from the federal and territorial funds of obligatory medical insurance and the regional budget.

A considerable part of the funds was sent for purchase of medical equipment. More than 1000 medical apparatuses were purchased during three years for hospitals of Yamal. By the information given to a correspondent of IA "Sever-Press" in the office on public relations at the regional department of health protection, fulfillment of the program took place on three directions: strengthening of material and technical base of establishments, introduction of modern information systems to health protection, of standards of medical help and increase of accessibility of outpatient help for population. Computed tomography scanners, X-ray machines, ultrasound machines, incubators and machines for artificial lung ventilation for newborns, anesthesia-respiratory apparatuses, transport incubators and other equipment were purchased. 2146 researches were made with help of the computed tomography scanner since the moment of its input to exploitation. Ambulance aircrafts were equipped with the system of satellite navigation GLONASS. Special attention was paid to informational support of health protection. Studios of telemedicine were made in the region; the system of preferential provision of medicines and the service "Appointment to a doctor in the electronic form" were inculcated. 24 hospitals conduct electronic medical records. Preparation of hospitals and policlinics to transition to predominantly one-channel financing and also to receiving of financial means for a completed case of medical treatment became the result of work on standards. As it is noted in the department, in 30 regions of the Russian Federation the program on modernization in a part of building and inputting of perinatal centers to exploitation was prolonged till 2016. In Yamal construction of a new perinatal center is taking place at the expenses of the regional budget outside the program on modernization. Its input to operation is planned for the first quarter of 2015.
