The record number of schoolchildren visited Zapolyarnoye field

75 participants of the personnel program "I choose a speciality" and the project "Gazprom-classes" visited Zapolyarnoye oil, gas, condensate field of the company "Gazprom dobycha Yamburg". Schoolchildren arrive to the field every year in order to see how employees work and live. But for the first time the number of schoolchildren is so big.

It is connected with so that pupils of "Gazprom-classes" joined to the participants of the program "I choose a speciality". As the deputy chief of the office for education of personnel of "Gazprom dobycha Yamburg" Roman Bokach notes, the project "Gazprom-classes" is included to the program "I choose a speciality". Pupils of two specialized 9th forms in two schools of Noviy Urengoy became its participants. They study natural scientific disciplines more deeply. Graduates of the 9th and 11th forms participate in the program "I choose a speciality". Already soon they finish school and will enter technical specialized schools or higher education institutions and to come to practice during their studies. Roman Bokach expressed hope that these schoolchildren will return to the enterprise as employees. Visiting of objects of extraction and preparation of gas in the company is an obligatory activity for the participants of the program "I choose a speciality". The administration of the oil and gas extracting office organized the excursion for the guests. The schoolchildren visited the control room of the office, the residential module and had dinner in the canteen. Later, they were divided in two groups and went to complex gas treatment plants 2C and 3C, where they got acquainted to processes of extraction and preparation of gas. Also they received certificates of participants of the program "I choose a speciality". By the information given to IA "Sever-Press" in the service on public relations and mass media of "Gazprom dobycha Yamburg", the program "I choose a speciality" was created in 2010 to form the prospective personnel reserve of the company and career guidance of youth. It is orientated on pupils of graduating classes of town schools and the technical school of gas industry of Noviy Urengoy. The project "Gazprom-classes" became a part of the program. 153 schoolchildren from Noviy Urengoy and the settlement Tazovskiy participate in the personnel programs of the company.
