The Russian export center will help to promote products of Yamal to foreign markets

The meeting of heads of agricultural companies from Yamal with a representative of the Russian export center in Yekaterinburg Ilya Anisimov took place on the 18th of September within the business program of the IX Interregional agro-industrial exhibition of Ural Federal Okrug.

Today Yamal delivers meat and reindeer hides to the EU countries. The municipal enterprise “Yamalskiye Oleni” has fulfilled exports of venison since 2008. This year delivery of reindeer hides was started. Finland is the main buyer. The meat-processing complex “Payuta” has been in foreign markets since 2018, reindeer meat is sent to Germany, reindeer hides - to Finland. Salekhard fish-processing plant and the fishing brigade “Orion” are in the process of certification now. Stake is placed on canned products - the estimated potential of fish exports is up to 1 million cans of canned food annually. The countries of the near abroad and the People’s Republic of China are considered as partners. The production firm “Nyda-Resource”, which became the co-founder of the Trading House “Nam Pop Yamal” opened in Uzbekistan recently, is also in the process of certification now.

“Products of Yamal have good prospects; they are exclusive, ecologically clean products. Moreover, there is already successful experience of export deliveries. We would like to consolidate and to develop further it. For that we provided various measures of support, in particular, compensation of part of costs for transportation of products. The Russian export center is an agent of the Russian government on providing of subsidies to compensate for transport costs”, Ilya Anisimov said.

The Russian export center, which is “the headquarters” of the national project “International cooperation and export”, today provides comprehensive support for potential and existing exporters – consultations, assistance in certification of enterprises, search for partners abroad, insurance of foreign trade transactions. It also provides training for novice exporters, offers credit and guarantee support. In general, the center provides more than a hundred services, which were used by more than 10 thousand exporters last year.
