The shareholders of "Yamal LNG" should present guarantees on the project in the second quarter of the year

The shareholders of "Yamal LNG" should present guarantees on fulfillment of the project in the second quarter of the year in order to receive money from the Russian National Wealth Fund.

It was declared by the deputy head of the Ministry for economic development Nikolay Podguzov. At the present time the guarantees have not been presented yet, as it is informed on the portal neftegaz.ru. The shareholders of "Yamal LNG" are: NOVATEK (60 percent), the French "Total" (20 percent) and the Chinese company CNPC (20 percent). The project foresees building of the plant on production of liquefied natural gas with capacity 16 million and 500 thousand tons per year on the base of the South-Tambey field. Proved and probable reserves of gas in the field make 907 milliard cubic meters of gas. Earlier it was informed that the government had approved allocation of 150 milliard rubles from the Russian National Wealth Fund for fulfillment of the project.
