The Termokarstovoye field in Yamal will be started up in April

The minister for energy of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak met with the director general of the company "Total Exploration & Production in Russia" Jacques de Boisseson. As the head of the Russian ministry notes, during many years Total is a reliable partner of Russia.

As the press-service of the ministry informs, the sides discussed fulfillment of Russian projects, in which Total participates, and further prospects of cooperation. As Jacques de Boisseson notes, the course of Total towards Russia stays the same as it was at Christophe de Margerie. All difficulties are temporary – it makes no sense to turn back in the middle, as he says. The representative of the French concern told about successful work on the project "Yamal LNG". Building of objects has been already completed on 20-25 percent. Besides, Jacques de Boisseson announced about startup of the Termokarstovoye gas condensate field in Yamal, which is planned for April. Total develops this project together with NOVATEK.
