The video marathon “The museum at home” was started in Yamal

During self-isolation the Museum and Exhibition complex named after Shemanovskiy launched the video marathon #Музейдома (The museum at home), as the regional department of culture informs. The museum at home means our favorite household items, family and personal relics, the value of which is determined by everyone.

The marathon is aimed at attracting of people to the museum community. They can share stories about items from their home collections that are worthy of being displayed in the museum. In this case these can be any items: vintage, unique or dear to the heart. A story about an item and its history is the main requirement for the video.

To start the marathon, employees of the Museum recorded short video stories on their mobile phones (a video clip of up to 1 minute). The stories are published in the group in “VKontakte” (https://vk.com/mvk.yanao) with the appeal to subscribers to share their videos in the comments or to mark them on their social media pages (@mvk.yanao) and specify the general hashtag #Музейдома (The museum at home).
