Traditions are on the facade, avant-garde is inside. Work will be started in the new cultural and sports complex of Krasnoselkoup

Construction of the cultural and sports complex is taking place in the settlement Krasnoselkoup. This information was given in the department of construction and housing policy of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The contractor is ready to start building and assembling operations in the near future, building materials and machinery is being delivered to the building site. Also specialists are busy with assemblage and launch of heating and ventilating systems. The state customer – the directorate of major construction and investments of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug – is evaluating readiness of the complex in 40%. It is planned to input the object to operation in 2021.

The complex will be the main venue for conducting of cultural and sports events for dwellers of the settlement. The two-storey building with the total area 8420 square meters is divided into two blocks: entertainments and sports. The first will consist of a large cinema and concert hall for 400 seats, a hall for dances and rooms for different clubs of interest. The cinema and concert hall will be equipped with modern sound, light and video equipment, what will allow fulfilling various activities. The dimensions of the hall will provide sound and visual comfort for all visitors, not depending on a seat and a row. Seats for people with limited mobility will be foreseen in the first row.

The sports block includes a large gym for playing sports, a swimming pool with four lanes (25 meters long), small gyms for table tennis, billiards, fitness and a room with training apparatuses. Also it is planned to place a bowling alley with two lanes in the complex.

Stained glass of the facade of the building has been already decorated with ethnic ornaments.
