Wrestlers from Yamal won bronze medals at the tournament “Power of Russia”

Sportspeople from Yamal successfully performed at the interregional tournament in Greco-Roman wrestling “Power of Russia” dedicated to the memory of internationalist soldiers and held in the city of Bor, Nizhny Novgorod region.

According to the information given in the office on physical culture and sport under the administration of Purovskiy district, Ilyas Gamzatov in the weight category up to 35 kilograms and Zapir Gadjiyev - up to 75 kilograms became the bronze medal winners. Both athletes represented the children’s and youth sports school “Victoria” of Tarko-Salye.

More than 230 sportspeople from different regions of Russia participated in the competition. Hero of Russia, the honored test pilot Magomed Tolboyev was the honored guest of the tournament.
