Yamal and Estonia are planning joint youth projects

The chairperson of the Union of young employees, the Republic of Estonia, Peeter Tajm visited Noyabrsk. He arrived to Yamal with the aim to strengthen international relations and to develop cooperation between Yamal and Estonia in the sphere of youth policy and career guidance of young people.

By the information given to a correspondent of IA "Sever-Press" in the town board on affairs of family and youth, employees from Salekhard and Saint-Petersburg arrived to Noyabrsk. These specialists are busy with issues of career guidance of adolescents and young people. Peeter Tajm told about modern directions of youth policy and priority projects of Estonia. By his words, it is important to involve young people to public life and to teach them how to evaluate their own opportunities and abilities. Thus, conditions for personal and social development of a young person are created through non-formal education. The plan of development of youth sphere for 2014-2020 was created in Estonia. It is inculcated in two directions: youth policy and youth work. Young people in Estonia are people from 7 to 26 years old, practically each fourth inhabitant of the country. As Peeter Tajm adds, interests of young people are considered at organizing of work with youth, therefore, many activities are conducted in the Internet, public places and entertainment centers. Open youth centers for free visiting work in Estonia in each of 15 districts, there are specialized schools in each town, where paid groups on different directions work. During 4 days Peeter Tajm got acquainted to experience of work of establishments in Noyabrsk, participated in work of round tables with specialists, conducted training career-guiding lessons with schoolchildren and met with youth of the town. He marked qualitative work in the sphere of youth policy in Noyabrsk. He underlined the necessity to share experience. By the results of the visit, Peeter Tajm discussed opportunities to exchange youth delegations for study of experience of work, participation of representatives of Estonian youth in projects of the board on affairs of family and youth (the town Noyabrsk) and also opportunities of participation of young people from Noyabrsk in Estonian projects.
