Yamal is taking "20 steps to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory"

The council of the All-Russian public organization of veterans of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation conducts the action "20 steps to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory".

Each step means victories in the most considerable operations of the Great Patriotic War, taking and liberating of Soviet towns and countries of Eastern Europe. Among them there are: the 70th anniversary of liberating of Minsk, which will be marked on the 3rd of July and taking of Bucharest – on the 23rd of August, the 70th anniversary of liberating of Warsaw – the 17th of January, and Berlin – the second of May. By the information given to a correspondent of IA "Sever-Press" in the regional center for patriotic education, each of the jubilee dates will help to plan the schedule on preparation to celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. These are: meetings of pupils with participants of those battles and events, their relatives, thematic open lessons, holiday activities in school museums and libraries. Besides, the organizers suggest giving memorable jubilee medals on these dates to veterans of the Great Patriotic War.
