"Yamal LNG" and Murmansk Shipping Company concluded the contract for delivery of cargoes to the port of Sabetta

The joint-stock company "Yamal LNG" and Murmansk Shipping Company concluded the contract for delivery of cargoes to the port of Sabetta (Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug). According to the conditions of the contract, the total amount of transportations will make about 1 million and 500 thousand freight tons.

The contract covers wide nomenclature of cargoes being transported for construction and development of the South-Tambey gas condensate field. By the information given in the press-service of Murmansk Shipping Company, unique ships of the strengthened ice class will be basically used for these aims – "Yuriy Arshenevskiy", "Kapitan Danilkin", "A. Suvorov", "Pyotr Velikiy", "Viktor Tkachev" and "Grumant". These ships have the strengthened ice class and are able to work at extremely low temperatures. A part of their equipment is provided with cranes, which allow fulfill independent unloading of different cargoes, including large ones. Murmansk Shipping Company is a partner of "Yamal LNG" on delivery of cargoes. The achieved agreement will provide "Yamal LNG" with timely and year-round delivery of building cargoes, and Murmansk Shipping Company – with diversification of transport routes. According to calculations of specialists of Murmansk Shipping Company, about 15 ships of the company will be used in this direction every month during definite times.
