“Yamal LNG” concluded long-term contracts on 96% of LNG

The company “Yamal LNG” concluded contracts practically for the whole amount of liquefied natural gas manufactured on the plant. 96% are on the account of long-term contracts, for 20-25 years. This information was given by the director general of the company Yevgeniy Kot within “LNG Congress 2016”.

According to his words, countries of the Asia-Pacific Region are basic consumers of liquefied natural gas manufactured on the plant. 86% of all the concluded contracts are on their account, as TASS informs. As Yevgeniy Kot says, the company precisely knows where to its gas tankers will go. Markets are defined in all the contracts; approximately 86% go to the Asia-Pacific Region. The company “Yamal LNG” builds the plant on production of liquefied natural gas with the capacity 16 million and 500 thousand tons per year on resource base of the South-Tambey field. The beginning of production is planned for 2017.
