Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug kept the third place among the regions with maximum stability with the index 8.3 points. The rating by the results of May was made by the foundation “Petersburg Policy”. Magadan and Belgorod regions took the first and the second lines of the rating. Start of the project “The future of the Arctic” on removing of wastes and metal scraps accumulated during the period of industrial development of the region and also financial support by the company “Gazprom Neft” of the ecological expedition to the Kara Sea for cleaning of the territory of Vilkitsky Island were marked among positive events of the month. Also the decree of the governor of Yamal Dmitry Kobylkin about the subsidy to Tazovskiy district in the sum 49 million rubles for purchase and installation of the water-purifying complex and also plans of the Federal Road Agency (Rosavtodor) on building of the new route, which will connect Tyumen and Salekhard were marked, as the foundation “Petersburg Policy” informs. Besides, Yamal became the leader in the rating of regions on living standards of families and took the 6th place in the rating of socioeconomic situation by the results of the previous year. Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug with 7.7 points and Tyumen Oblast with 7.8 points were included to the group of the regions with high stability.
