Yamal will receive funds for training sportspeople for Russian national teams

Sports organizations of Yamal will receive more than 8 million rubles for training of sports reserve for national teams of Russia.

These funds will be allocated to the region as subsidies from the federal budget.

According to the information given to IA "Sever-Press" in the regional department on physical culture and sport, 5 kinds of sport are basic in the region: Greek-Roman wrestling, shooting sports, volleyball, weightlifting and powerlifting among sportspeople with locomotive disabilities. In total people in Yamal are actively involved in 40 kinds of sport. Among them there are the following: biathlon, weightlifting, mini-football, chess, powerlifting, swimming, hockey, skiing, volleyball and others. The subsidies are given for conducting of training activities on basic kinds of sport of Russia, for organizing of nutrition and accommodation of sportspeople at conducting of competitions of Russia, for raising the level of qualification and re-training of specialists, purchasing of sports and technological equipment, sports outfit for sports organizations. In total individual financial help will be rendered to 78 Russian regions in the amount 523 million and 800 thousand rubles. It will allow rendering support to 1240 sports organizations, in which 850 thousand sportspeople are trained. As we should note, in Tyumen Oblast exactly Yamal will receive the biggest sum of money for training of sports reserve.
