The sportsman from Yamal, the master of sport of international class Artur Tilov became the winner of the golden medal of the championship of Russia on Kyokushinkai Karate.

The tournament took place in Tomsk; about 500 sportspeople from 40 towns of Russia participated in it. According to the information given to a correspondent of IA "Sever-Press" in the regional department on physical culture and sport, in the weight category more than 80 kilograms Artur took the first place and became the winner of the championship of Russia. Owing to his success he was included into the national team of Russia and will present the country on the championship of the world in March in Athens, Greece. In the team ranking Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug took the second place after the team of Moscow.
