Cardiologists of Tyumen presented the unique technique that has no analogues in the world

The new method of endovascular treatment of false aneurysms of the radial artery was presented by cardiac surgeons from Tyumen in St. Petersburg at the VI annual transradial endovascular course. This is one of the leading symposiums in Russia in the sphere of interventional cardioangiology. More than 600 novices and experienced specialists from 11 countries of the world participated in the course.

The experts of Tyumen cardiology research center – the head of the department of x-ray surgical methods of diagnosis and treatment №1, the honored physician of the Russian Federation, the chief external expert of the Ministry of health of the Russian Federation in Ural Federal Okrug on x-ray endovascular diagnostics and treatment Igor Zyryanov and a physician of x-ray endovascular methods of diagnostics and treatment Stanislav Sapozhnikov - shared their experience with the colleagues.

“I presented a new method of endovascular treatment of false aneurysms of the radial artery. This is an alternative to surgical treatment. In the world no one does it, in Russia we told about it for the first time. Last year we applied for a patent, soon we shall receive an answer”, said Stanislav Sapozhnikov.

According to Igor Zyryanov, such diagnostic methods as intravascular ultrasound and optical coherence tomography are used in Tyumen cardiology center during about 5 years. These technologies allow seeing structure of a blood vessel from the inside, to assess nature of lesions, to improve results of surgery intervention in difficult cases.

As it should be noted, services of the cardiology center are actively used by patients from Yamal. On the 22nd of January Galina Tsekhotskaya from the town Gubkinskiy marked her anniversary. She told about her treatment at the center and highly evaluated work of its employees.
