Dmitriy Kobylkin and Alexander Dybal congratulated residents of Yamal with opening of the new sports complex

The governor of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Dmitriy Kobylkin and a member of the board of “Gazprom Neft” Alexander Dybal participated in the ceremony of opening of the universal sports complex in the town Noyabrsk.

The project became a next stage of fulfillment by “Gazprom Neft” of the program of social investments “Native towns”. The sports complex includes a universal gymnasium and a hall with training apparatuses, a swimming pool and a medical block. The complex is adapted completely for people with restricted abilities of health, as the press-service of the governor of Yamal informs. The company continues developing sports infrastructure in its key region of presence – Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The new sports complex will allow improving opportunities to do sport. In 2017 within the program “Native towns” the company will build complexes of branches of the hockey academy “Avangard” (Vanguard) in the towns Muravlenko and Labytnangi. This information was given by the representative of “Gazprom Neft” Alexander Dybal. Oil branch is closely connected with development of the region. Creation of comfortable conditions for life is a priority direction both for the government of the arctic region and for one of the largest employers in Yamal – the company “Gazprom Neft”. The sports complex in the town Noyabrsk became a real present for northerners on the Day of Oil and Gas Industry Workers. Objects, which are being built within the agreement between the government and the company are necessary for residents of Yamal, they allow popularizing healthy way of life, to strive for victories, including, in sport of high achievements. It is not a surprise that the results of people of Yamal, who are busy with sports and physical culture, several times grew during the latest years, as the governor of Yamal Dmitriy Kobylkin underlines. As we should remind, the program “Native towns” unites all social initiatives and projects of the group of companies of “Gazprom Neft” in regions of Russia. It is called to develop socioeconomic potential of regions, to create conditions for increase in quality of life and includes projects of forming of urban environment, infrastructure for children’s and mass sports and also initiatives in the sphere of health care, education and preservation of cultural potential of indigenous ethnic minorities of the North.
