Dmitriy Kobylkin conducted the meeting with top-managers of the company from South Korea

The delegation of the Korean industrial giant Daelim Industrial headed by the Chairman Hae-Wook Lee arrived to Salekhard with the familiarization business visit.

The governor of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Dmitriy Kobylkin presented investment potential of the region. A deputy governor Dmitriy Artyukhov informed in details about economic and industrial growth of Yamal. The both sides presented their vision of fulfillment of possible joint projects, expressed interest in cooperation, as the press-service of the governor of Yamal informs. As we should note, interest to work with the arctic region from the side of international companies grows every year. High resource potential and also competently formed support of large projects in Yamal makes the region attractive for investments. Dmitriy Kobylkin shared his opinion by the results of the meeting. As he says, reliability of investments to the region is confirmed on the highest level: recently the international agency Fitch has increased the long-term rating of Yamal, earlier the agency Raex gave exclusively high assessment to the region. The French company “Total” and the Chinese giant CNPC successfully work in the region within construction of the plant “Yamal LNG”. It is not a surprise that other countries also see prospects of work with the region, as the governor notes. The Korean Daelim Group is busy with petrol chemistry, oil processing industry and also construction of industrial objects in the sphere of energy, including construction of terminals for liquefying of natural gas and development of gas fields. The total cost of its assets exceeds 18 milliard dollars. Projects fulfilled in 35 countries of the world, including large petrochemical complexes, gas-processing and oil-processing plants in such states as Saudi Arabia, Iran and India, are on the account of Daelim. Own petrochemical subdivision of the company includes the plant on production of ethylene, the largest one in Korea. The representational office of Daelim in Russia was founded in 2015 and has permits for designing and building kinds of work and engineering researches. Thus, projects on production of liquefied natural gas in the town Vysotsk and also the modern project with “Gazpromneft-Omsk refinery” (Gazprom Neft) on modernization of Omsk refinery are being fulfilled in Russia at participation of Daelim Industrial.
