Dmitry Artyukhov: we bow our heads to the great deed of the fallen

On the Day of Memory and Sorrow the acting head of the region Dmitry Artyukhov addressed to residents of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

“On the 22nd of June of 1941 - 77 years ago our grandparents and great-grandparents stood up to defend the Fatherland. Today we bow our heads to the great deed of the soldiers, who fell on battlefields of the Great Patriotic War, which changed lives of millions of people. We pay tribute and gratitude to everyone, who in the brutal battle against the fascist invaders defended freedom and independence of our country, giving peace and bright future to all of us. It is our moral duty to remember the harsh lessons of the war, to live in peace and harmony, honestly and fruitfully to work for the benefit of our arctic territory and great Russia”, as it is said in the message by the acting governor of Yamal. Dmitry Artyukhov wished residents of Yamal for peace and good, strong health and well-being.
