Dmitry Kobylkin: very much in the country depends on Yamal

The governor of Yamal Dmitry Kobylkin called residents of Yamal not to stand aside but to come to the voting stations on the 18th of March.

“The election of the President of the Russian Federation is the most important event of this spring. Of course, we are all preparing for them. One of my deputies told me that his minor children would like to go to vote. This is a vivid example of formation of the younger generation’s civic activity. I am sure that people of Yamal will come to the election on the 18th of March. It is very important. The future of Yamal and the future of the country depend on our voting, and very much in the country depends on Yamal”, as he said in a program of the TV and Radio Company “Yamal-Region” on the 15th of March. The head of the region underlines that Yamal is at the very beginning of its development and the so-called “second wave of development”. Fulfillment of significant, large-scale infrastructural projects on the Yamal and Gydan Peninsulas, construction of the Northern Latitudinal Railway, diversification of economy, intensification of processing of hydrocarbon raw materials, renovation of air, sea and river transport are ahead. This year the region intends to invest 2 milliard rubles in fulfillment of the projects “Comfortable urban environment” and “Living in the North”, earlier annual investments did not exceed 400 million rubles. Much work is ahead, it needs to master trillions of monetary funds. It is impossible to stop in development in any case, as Dmitry Kobylkin underlines.
