Gas workers are enrolling students to “Gazprom-class” in Noviy Urengoy

The company “Gazprom dobycha Yamburg” announced the start of new enrolling to “Gazprom-class” of engineering and technical specialization for 2020-2022 academic years. The specialized class will start working in September in the gymnasium (the upper secondary school) of Noviy Urengoy.

The curriculum for schoolchildren provides in-depth study of physics, chemistry and mathematics, as well as numerous elective courses, which will be conducted with involvement of managers and specialists of “Gazprom dobycha Yamburg”, teachers from Russian higher education institutions and the private vocational educational institution “Gazprom technical school of Noviy Urengoy”. Applications are being accepted from parents of the ninth-grade students. The main requirement for candidates is the following: the average mark in the specialized subjects (mathematics, physics, chemistry) in the certificate must be at least “four” (“good”). The project “Gazprom-class” was launched in 2013 on the initiative of “Gazprom dobycha Yamburg” and “Gazprom dobycha Urengoy” with support from the department of education of the town administration of Noviy Urengoy. According to the information given on the 23rd of March by the news agency “Sever-Press”, the company “Gazprom dobycha Urengoy” announced enrolling to “Gazprom-classes” of the secondary school “Zemlya Rodnaya” (“Native land”) of Noviy Urengoy.
