In Moscow “Gazprom dobycha Yamburg” shared its experience in development of extractive fields in Yamal

Anatoly Arabsky, the deputy chief engineer for scientific and technical work and ecology of “Gazprom dobycha Yamburg”, participated in the technical forum “Arrangement of oil and gas fields”. At the event in Moscow the participants discussed modern principles and technologies of arrangement of oil and gas fields, including on remote and hard-to-reach territories.

In his report Anatoly Arabsky spoke about development of Yamburgskoye and Zapolyarnoye oil, gas, condensate fields, focusing on promising developments of the company. They include: the project on reconstruction of the extraction complex in Yamburgskoye field and its gas collection network with use of domestic modular compressor units on clusters of extractive wells.

“It is assumed that fulfillment of this project should extend the life cycle of the field practically twice, ensuring compliance of its operation with the basic principles of sustainable development”, Anatoly Arabsky said.

Now the first modular compressor unit is passing through resource testing on one of clusters of gas wells in Yamburgskoye field. This information was given to the news agency “Sever-Press” in the service of public relations and communication with mass media of “Gazprom dobycha Yamburg”. In the future the company intends to use the existing infrastructure of Yamburgskoye field for development of water fields in the Gulf of Ob and the Taz Estuary and for consistent movement to the north in order to reach the Gydan Peninsula.

“Gazprom dobycha Yamburg” is a subsidiary of the company “Gazprom”. It operates in Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The company owns licenses for exploration and production of hydrocarbons from Yamburgskoye and Zapolyarnoye fields. Also it prepares the following subsoil areas for commercial development: the North-Kamennomysskoye, Kamennomysskoye-Sea, Obskoye, Chugoryakhinskoye, Tazovskoye-Zapolyarnoye, the South Parusovoye, and within the joint venture, Parusovoye, the North Parusovoye and Semakovskoye. In addition, the company has the assigned responsibility for development of Antipayutinskoye and Tota-Yakhinskoye fields.
