New resource-saving equipment is used in the East-Messoyakha field

Specialists of the drilling block of the company “Messoyakhaneftegaz” confirmed high effectiveness of domestic resource-saving equipment – flocculation and sedimentation units. They are used for cleaning of drilling mud and returning of technical water to process of building of wells.

Use of such units allows decreasing use of water for preparation of drilling mud on 25% and the amount of liquid wastes on 64%. Assessment of effectiveness of this technology was conducted on 42 exploitation wells of the East-Messoyakha field. The resource-saving equipment works in 6 cluster sites of Messoyakhaneftegaz, where oil wells are being built, as the agency for oil and gas information reports. Use of modern technologies at development of the East-Messoyakha field and also observation of the principle of ecological security are necessary conditions of activity of the enterprise. Effectiveness of work on subsoil use is measured not only in tonnes of extracted oil but also in complex nature-protecting programs. Use of flocculation and sedimentation units led also to decrease in ecological load and to optimization of expenditures for building of wells, as the director general of the company “Messoyakhaneftegaz” Viktor Sorokin informs. The East-Messoyakha field is situated in Tazovskiy district. Extractable reserves of oil and condensate make more than 340 million tonnes. “Messoyakhaneftegaz” conducts development of the field. “Gazprom Neft” and “Rosneft” are its shareholders on the parity basis. In the mode of teleconference last September the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin gave the command to the start up of industrial exploitation of the East-Messoyakha field.
