Tourist tours from family ones to VIP are created in Yamal

“The map of the future of tourist activity in Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug” was created in Yamal. It includes forming of attractive package offers for municipalities with flights, transfers, excursions, accessible nutrition and accommodation.

According to the deputy head of the administration of Uglich district on tourism Yulia Voronova, work of the strategic session was conducted till morning. The tourist product for different audiences from VIP to weekend tourists was created by its results: a family tour “Yamal – Aurora Borealis”, “Yamal – business TRAVEL”, “Yamal Weekend’, industrial tourism “The path of the pioneer” and “Trophy hunting/fishing” for VIP. Thus, the family tour “Yamal - Aurora Borealis” is presented as the most secure and without extreme activities. The weekend tour includes rich cultural and sports program. Each program of the tour is aimed at different targeted audience. Yulia Voronova underlines that 32 thousand people live in the town Uglich, Yaroslavl Oblast. But more than 400 thousand tourists visit this town every year. Basically they arrive by motor ship. The director of the department of youth policy and tourism of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Elvira Timergazina notes that the pace of the first congress of representatives of tourist branch is very good. The main task of such big event is in so that bodies of the power and business together should define further vectors of work. As she says, tourism in Yamal exists, but it needs to work on it in order the region would be able to suggest a new exotic tourist product.
