Yamal and Kurgan Oblast summed up the results of mutually profitable cooperation

The traditional press-conference dedicated to last year cooperation of Yamal and Kurgan Oblast took place in Kurgan in the representational office of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

Chiefs of enterprises and organizations of the region participated in it. According to the words of the head of the representational office of Yamal Valery Ryazanov, in 2014 the amount of direct deliveries and rendered services by enterprises and organizations of Kurgan Oblast to consumers in Yamal made 4 milliard and 625 million rubles.

Industrial enterprises of Kurgan Oblast continued delivering machines and equipment for seismic survey and development of gas and oil fields, buses, bridge metal constructions, trailers for motor-cars and many other goods. During 2014 more than 230 people from Yamal passed the course of medical treatment in the Russian Ilizarov Scientific Center for Restorative Traumatology and Orthopedics. 550 students of Kurgan Oblast worked on building sites of Yamal in summer. Several exhibitions took place in Kurgan within the Year of culture – of exclusive photo-works "Arctic" by a photographer from Yamal Sergey Anisimov, of bone-carving art "The second life" by an artist Sergey Luginin and of pictures by an artist Herman Travnikov dedicated to nature of Yamal.
