Yamal is the leader on the level of wellbeing of families

According to the data of RIA Rating Agency, Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug took the first place in Russia on the level of wellbeing of families by the results of the previous year, as the press-service of the governor of Yamal informs.

The experts counted what amount of money stays in a family after deducting of subsistence minimum of two grownups and two children. An average wage in the region was taken to consideration. By the results of the calculations it is marked that there were not any noticeable changes in the leading ten of the rating in comparison to the results of the previous year. Yamal is the leader of the rating during 4 years in a row. The second place is taken by Chukotka, the third – by Moscow. As we should note, big work on providing of comfortable life conditions for families with children was done in Yamal during the latest years. New housing complexes, kindergartens, medical establishments and sports constructions are being built actively. Work on increase in wages to public sector employees working in the sphere of education, health, culture and other social branches is conducted. Birth rate is increased in one row with development of infrastructure and increase in income of population. More than 9000 children were born in Yamal only last year. At that, 3500 children are the second children in families and more than 2000 are the third and next children. Number of large families grows. It makes 8500 families, what exceeds the index of last year on 1000. The regional law about maternal (family) capital was taken in 2011 in Yamal to support large families. Its size makes 350 thousand rubles. It is given after giving birth (or adoption) of the third and next children. Besides, at giving birth to a third and next children people of Yamal receive one-time allowance in 15 thousand rubles. Large families received free land allotments for individual house building. Since the beginning of this year all large families are able to receive medical treatment and have a rest in sanatoriums and health resorts, to receive a payment for children to prepare them to school till the first of September (more than 3000 rubles) and privileges on payment of communal services. Earlier such support was given only to low-income large families. The head of Yamal Dmitriy Kobylkin underlines that taking care about families of northerners is one of the most important tasks in activity of the regional power. As he says, worthy life of families, strengthening of their status and wellbeing are priority directions of family policy in the arctic region. Stability and dynamic development of Yamal and wellbeing of Russia depends on strength and wellbeing of families.
